Social Emotional Learning and Mental Health Services in Adams 14

 

The Adams 14 School District strives to promote the communities’ understanding of social emotional wellness and mental health and create a positive climate that is supportive of all students and families. By developing responsive environments where student’s needs are supported thus increasing resiliency so that they can become healthy engaged members of the community.

 

The comprehensive approach in the Adams 14 School District is to provide school based social/emotional wellness, behavioral support and mental health support. Students can access the continuum of support beginning with the promotion of social/emotional wellness and early intervention available to all students. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.
